Baby Steps

I woke up this morning and decided, I'm gonna step on the scale. I had that "what the hell" feeling and just thought, "why not". So I pushed the scale, waited until it said "0.0" and stepped on. I then squinted a little, and it said 146.8. YESSS. Down 1.2 pounds.

I didn't even try. It was a small triumphant moment. I had been feeling a *little* bouncier, but I thought it was just because I had a busy and good weekend.

I can't revel in the victory too much, because if I do, it will encourage me to go out and get "CAHRAZY". :( But I can acknowledge that I feel better because of it. *Patting self on back*

Well. I have kind of always wondered why people would ever blog.

I mean really, do we all think we're that important that someone might want to read our random thoughts? "NOT I", I would say to myself time and time again.

But then I joined the interwebz full force and realized that lots of people blog. Not just to feel important, but to share their lives, struggles and triumphs.

Though I hope for more of the latter, I know that I must pass through the hard parts to get there. So really this is just a personal journal for me to showcase my own need to sabotage myself. So here I am.
